Sanele Chadwick - New Board Presiding Member
Talofa lava,
I'd like to introduce myself as the Board's new Presiding Member.
You'll often find me on the school pick-up struggling to locate my three children (Tautua, Soifua, Tana) or coaching the best touch team (U10 Aubert) on a Thursday afternoon at Mazengarb Reserve. If you spot me, feel free to come and introduce yourself and say hello - or if you see my kids on school pick up, please send them my way :)
There is a saying in Samoan 'e le tu fa'amauga se tagata' - nobody stands alone. I want you to know we have a highly talented, enthusiastic, and passionate group of Board members who want to work alongside our community to help uplift our school's special character. We love this school, and we can't wait to work with our wonderful staff, children, and parents to ensure we're delivering the best possible outcomes for our tamariki through our board governance.
I arrive here on the shoulders of the incredible work of our previous Presiding Member Isabel Carberry. Isabel's service, dedication, and stewardship on the board have been extremely valuable and will be sorely missed. On behalf of the board, I want to extend our sincere gratitude and thanks.
Here's to 2024... Cheehooo!
Soifua, ma ia manuia.
